FAQs

How long do the candles last?

While most big brand candle companies will insist on the burn time of a candle, it's truly dependent on the care you have provided for your candle. A good formula to go by is 6-8 hours of burn time per one ounce of wax, under the best conditions. Keeping your candle away from wind, vibration, and movement, in an area without drastic temperature changes, and trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch after each use. This will prevent soot and a large flame that will burn off both the wax and fragrance of your candle.

How quickly will my order ship?

Because we are shipping from the warm state of Florida and we are determined to have your items arrive in the same condition from which it left, we only ship orders Monday - Wednesday. This ensures that your package spends the least amount of time in a truck.

What are the candles made of?

Each candle and wax melt is made out of US grown and economically sourced soybeans, scented with toxin free fragrance oils, and wicked with either a wooden or cotton wick. Our molded candles are made from ethically farmed and sourced palm and paraffin wax blends and are scented with the same toxin free fragrance oils and wicked with a cotton wick.

How do I care for my candle?

Each package includes a Care Card with instructions on how to care for your items. Please remember to:

  • Always trim your candle wick to 1/4" before each use.
  • Do not burn for longer than four hours at a time.
  • Never leave a candle burning unattended.
  • Stop use when less than 1/2" of wax remain at the bottom of the jar.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

At your candle's end of life, we ask that you help us in our mission to reduce waste by utilizing your candle vessel as a pencil holder or a vase or anything else your creative heart can think of. If you are in the Central Florida area and would like to recycle your vessel as part of our Renew Buy Back Program, please click here.

How do I use a wax melt?

To use your wax melt, you must first have a wax burner. We don't carry these in our shop but they are easily found at Walmart, Target, and Amazon for $10-$25 depending on style. Please follow the instructions on your purchased wax warmer for best results. We suggest you snap your wax melt and place two cubes in your warmer tray for a well scented experience. The two cubes should last a few days to one week. To remove the wax, use a couple of cotton balls to soak up with remaining melted wax! It's that easy.
